![]() ![]() You have to ACTUALLY think about life as a result of completing these games. The reason I love tales is because it's NEVER that simple. People who complain didn't ask questions and think that everything has to just work out like daisies and flower fields. The fractured dimensions were a wonderful idea and is a completely new concept to explore in Tales. In ANY Tales game, you learn that you don't always have an option. They have to work with what they have, and they don't have the convenience to save every world. But does Ludger have the Eternal sword? No? Then they have to work with what they got. ![]() They even joked about how Cless' team could EASILY take on the final boss and take back Elle without a sweat. Cless/Cress in the coliseum is holding it. They can't save other worlds, alright? They don't have the Eternal sword. You people REALLY need to understand that these characters are their own and not anybody else. You don't like going back to the same areas, that's a preference.Įverybody else who made a philosophical complaint or story complaint just didn't understand why they did what they did. Okay, sure, you don't like the debt system. The only people I saw with VIABLE reasons to not like Xillia 2 were those with gameplay preferences. You want them to just make another world instead of a bunch of fractured dimensions? They already used that idea. What if Agria had taken Leia's hand? What if Alvin betrayed his partner's trust? What was Gaius' relationship with his old team? Who was Elize's father? All these questions were answered with every fractured dimension they went through. One of the biggest reasons for these fractured dimensions was to see what could've been. Before complaining, why don't you think of what other way they could've gotten out of those fractured dimensions? If there WAS another way out, Julius would've told them. Spirius Corporation has been crossing dimensions WAYYY before Ludger's group and the only way they could get out was by destroying the other worlds. ![]() The ONLY way they could ever find another way out is if they just COME ACROSS it. From the VERY FIRST fractured dimension they went to together with full awareness (The one with the lab, Alvin's uncle, and first meeting with Chronos), they were trying to find information in town. When they go to another dimension, they can't get out unless they take out the catalyst. If they don't do it, their own world is going to be destroyed. You go "Who are you to go around destroying worlds?" but you miss the point of doing so. People seem to be missing the point that the cast understands what they're doing and don't understand that they don't have a choice. ![]() You know what, that makes sense, but what you guys just complained about is something you guys could NEVER comprehend. Yuri becomes a murderer and nobody is going to bat an eye, but the Xillia 2 cast goes around destroying worlds to save their own, and everybody goes insane. Listen people, this isn't Symphonia, the game you're playing is completely different from the rest of the games in the past, just like the past games being completely different from each other. I see comments like "It throws out the idea of their past games" and "They didn't even look for another way to do things" or "I'd rather they did it this way". ![]()
